The Old Guys

Here is a bit more information about us…

BOB

Bob is the elder of the two, LOL. Thought I would point that out. Bob’s background is that of a photographer. He has travelled extensively around the world and taken the most amazing pictures from those travels. From the mountains of Tibet to the beaches of Hawaii, to fields filled with horses and action shots of horses racing, Bob has captured the beauty and character of each adventure.

Bob has a huge background in volunteering with non-profit organizations over the years. He has taught at-risk youth photography, and assisted the non-profits with websites and marketing designs. Bob has also ran an Art gallery, a photography studio, and sat on the board of a non-profit that helped rehome retired racehorses. ALL from a volunteer place, and a huge heart. Over the past 7 plus years, Bob also got involved with harness racing with his friend Jerome. They have owned horses together ever since.

JEROME

Jerome is the younger of the two old guys, and is married to a very loving and understanding wife. Jerome’s background is that of a racehorse trainer. He raced horses as a young man in his late teens to early thirty’s. Within that time Jerome suffered a serious waterskiing accident that left him paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair. He continued racing horses even being in a wheelchair. Racing throughout North America. He returned to his home province in his early thirty’s and went to college. Upon graduation Jerome spent the next 25 years working in social services from from line work with at-risk youth to running an award-winning non-profit that provided services to street involved youth. Jerome also was key in the development of marketing materials for the non-profit led, from flyers, post cards, rack cards, to brochures and gala fundraiser programs.

At the same time he worked in the helping profession, he excelled in wheelchair sports. He played professional wheelchair tennis for fifteen years, learned to scuba dive, road raced in his hand cycle, and became a self-taught wood carver. He also is an author of a non-fiction book about this life’s journey entitled, UNBREAKABLE. He returned to horse racing over the past seven years where he established himself as the only paraplegic horse trainer in Canada. Now, he wishes to provide his marketing skills to help others needing websites and/or marketing materials.
